Homework Planning and Check-In:
Does your child:
Need support organizing materials, planning and prioritizing homework tasks, and reaching out to teachers as needed
Need accountability to stay on track with homework
Your child’s coach will meet with them 1-2 times per week to organize materials, break up big assignments, and prioritize tasks. Their coach will then check in with them several times throughout the week to support them through any issues that arise.
Throughout the program, your child’s coach will teach them skills to build independence and improve executive functioning skills in and out of the classroom.
Executive Functioning and Homework Support:
This service is designed for students who:
Have difficulty starting and completing homework
Struggle to independently follow through with a plan and avoid distractions
Your child will work one-on-one with their coach 2-5 times per week to complete assignments, organize materials, and plan and prioritize tasks.
Coaches monitor grades, assignments, and teacher communications, so parents don’t have to.
During their time together, your child and their coach will work to develop and practice essential skills, build on their successes, and promote greater independence.
Customized Executive Functioning Coaching:
This service is designed for students who:
Does your child need targeted support with study skills, perfectionism, and communicating with teachers?
Or, maybe it takes them twice as long as their peers to complete homework, and you aren’t sure why?
